The Sensitive Reptile and Amphibian Species of the Midwest web pages were created to provide information on reptile and amphibian species that appear to be imperiled across the Midwest. At the present time, text has been limited to one or two pages for each species to stick to the most salient points. We are, however, developing more in-depth supplemental information that will also be accessible at the same location, and this should be available early 2003. These pages were partially supported by funds from the US Fish and Wildlife Service. Bruce Kingsbury and Joanna Gibson were primarily responsible for text development, with additional contributions from Michelle Standora (Eastern Massasauga Rattlesnake page) and Scott Gibson (Timber Rattlesnake page). Pratik Rohatgi developed the web layout, navigation scheme and enhanced the graphics.
